Reset our Ups and Downs💟

life is like a rollercoaster, enjoy the ride🎢

Assalamu alaikum my loves,

Hope you’re all well!

This week's episode of The Reset Club is about juggling too many tasks at once.

Enjoy! :)

Since summer break started, I've been in a rut—wake up, clean a bit, eat, and sleep.

It was embarrassing because I had so many plans on my Notion board, but nothing was getting done.

A chat with a treasured friend about how much I got done during my gap year sparked a rush of excitement.

Last Sunday, things turned around when I started writing the newsletter again.

I started doing so many things at once and got a lot done in the first few days.

I was constantly thinking about my project.

From the moment I woke up to the moment I went to sleep.

But then, like a rollercoaster, the excitement crashed.

One minute, I was at the top, gaining speed.

The next, I was back on the ground with no stimulation.

The excitement died down.

I read a LinkedIn post that said: Stress + Rest = Growth.

Balance is key—stress is good if it's balanced with rest.

So, my game plan is to create an Ideal Week.

This is for me to really visualise what I want to get done by this time next week.

It will include quran reading, project, and maybe even a workout.

If I fancy, I would link my Ideal Week with my newsletter next week, but no promises!

With five months left in 2024, I want to see changes in my life, and yours too.

Today’s mini task:

1. Create an ideal week for yourself, including shifts, prayers, etc.

2. Use any note-taking platform (I love Notion for its aesthetics).

3. Set a reminder to review your progress next week—note what you completed and why you didn't complete other tasks.

Feel free to email me with any questions. I’d love to help <3

Let’s wrap this up with a quote from a poem.

Take care, my loves,

Amal <3
