2 Tips to Increase Barakah in Your Wealth!2️⃣
Charity does not diminish Wealth!
Assalamu alaikum my dears,
Today, let's talk about wealth.
Wealth may seem like a tricky concept, but it becomes clear once we follow the right principles.
The money we have is not truly ours; it’s an amanah (trust) given to us by Allah (SWT).
We are entrusted to use it wisely and responsibly.
In Surah Maryam, when Maryam (AS) was enduring the pains of labour, Allah guided her to shake the palm tree.
The trunk of the palm tree is extremely heavy, but despite that, Allah made it easy for her to obtain the fresh, ripe dates.
This demonstrates that while we must put in the effort, Allah makes things easier when we strive.
We shouldn't expect results to simply fall into our laps; we have to work for them.
Today, I’ll share two practical tips to increase your wealth and sustenance:
1. Be Thankful.
When you are always grateful, you will receive more.
For every transaction you make, whether it’s money coming in or going out, be thankful to the One who allowed it to happen.
Gratitude can improve not just your financial state, but your rizq (sustenance) overall.
2. Give, Give, and Give Some More.
We’ve all heard the saying "What goes around comes around," and this aligns with our deen as well.
The more you give—for the sake of Allah—the more Allah (SWT) will bless you with sustenance.
Charity does not decrease wealth.
In fact, Allah uses a powerful analogy in Surah Baqarah, Ayah 261, comparing charity to a seed.
When you plant a seed, you eventually see its fruits.
I once heard from Mufti Menk that when you eat an apple, 97.5% of it is for you to consume.
But what’s left, the 2.5% seeds, can be planted.
These seeds represent the portion of our wealth that we give as zakat or charity.
When nurtured, they multiply and come back to us in tenfolds.

I want to share a hadith that really encompasses the importance of giving charity and how it would never EVER diminish your wealth.
We should all strive to give something daily to see the benefits in this life and the next.
And with that, I shall love you and leave you until the following week!
Barakallah feek,
Amal <3
