5 Tips to Enhance Your Key Relationships 5️⃣!
a new series!!
Hello my lovely ladies,
It’s officially 5 weeks until my 21st birthday.
While I don’t celebrate, this time of year always brings a wave of reflection.
It’s a perfect moment to evaluate where I am and where I want to be.
To mark this period, I’m starting a new series kind of like a countdown to my birthday.
We’ll cover Physical Health, Mental Health, Spiritual Health, Financial Literacy and Key Relationships .
Today, let’s dive into enhancing our Key Relationships, which include our connections with others, ourselves, and Allah SWT.
We often overlook how every interaction, big or small, impacts others’ perceptions of us.
Our actions and words are like pieces of a puzzle that form an impression in someone’s mind.
That’s why it’s so crucial to take time to reflect on ourselves—our likes, dislikes, and the boundaries we need to set.
Before making any decisions or acting impulsively, pause and consider: Is this how I want to present myself?
Here are five principles to guide us to having good relationships with ourselves, others and Allah SWT:
Active Listening: Truly focus on what others are saying. Show you’re engaged by reflecting on their words and asking clarifying questions. This builds deeper connections and shows you value their thoughts.
Consistency: Be reliable and steadfast. I cannot stress it enough. Following through on promises goes a long way. Consistency builds trust and strengthens relationships.
Empathy: Try to understand and share others' feelings. Strive to be that person that can uplift someone when they are down.
Sincerity in Worship: Engage in your spiritual practices with genuine intention and gratitude. Reflect on the meaning behind your worship and maintain a heartfelt connection with Allah SWT.
Self-Care: Take care of your own well-being by setting boundaries, enjoying activities you love, and seeking support when needed. Self-care helps you stay balanced and enhances your ability to nurture positive relationships.
I hope this new series will be of good use to you hayati.
I got SO many ideas just waiting in the drafts section in my head.
We on a way to the best version of ourselves we can be right now.
Because with time, we can always, always, ALWAYS get better.
With love,
Amal <3
